Heather Cassils
Heather Cassils has recently shot to fame as the butch bodybuilder who got to lay some love on Lady Gaga in the ladies' prisonyard sequence in Gaga's Telephone video. There's no doubt that her muscled appearance added a whole lot of queerness to the clip, which has now been seen by over a billion viewers. Heather's also a very interesting person in her own right, working as a personal trainer and a performance artist, dealing with complex issues about gender and body shapes.
In an interview today with AfterEllen.com, Heather declared that she was not a lesbian because she felt like a man inside and preferred to date straight women:
One thing for certain is that I am not a lesbian. Not that there is anything wrong with lesbians, lots of my friends are lesbians, but I never have felt like a lesbian.
